What is Sttandard?

Topciment presents Sttandard, the new brand for its two-component microcement products. Sttandard is robust and versatile so it works well in any situation and offers the most complete variety of solutions. Coating and paving, indoors, outdoors and areas in permanent contact with water do not represent any difficulty for this range of products. Sttandard is the traditional microcement that allows the craftsman installer to play with the mixtures and achieve decorative finishes unimaginable with other products. All this makes Sttandard's range of continuous coatings the decorative solution par excellence, turning the quotidian into something extraordinary.

Sttandard Microbase

Sttandard Microbase is a two-component microcement in powder. Designed for surface preparation before applying finishing microcements Microdeck and Microfino. It has been formulated to be applied as a low-thickness continuous coating onto floors and walls. Topciment microcement is applied in several layers with a trowel, allowing the creation of a wide range of finishes. As part of an application system the surface should be prepared and with Microbase with products recommended by Topciment.

It is formulated of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, synthetic resin and specific additives. Microbase (component A in powder) needs to be mixed with Acricem (component B liquid) according to the quantities specified in this technical sheet to guarantee its features.

Once mixed, the obtained product can create a coating of 1-3 mm, with high mechanical strength and strong adhesion to any type of substrates: concrete, cement-based mortars, ceramic, MDF, plaster and drywall as long as they are correctly prepared.

Sttandard Microfino

Sttandard Microfino is a two-component microcement in powder for decorative coatings. It has been formulated as a thin, seamless overlay to be installed onto walls. Topciment microcement is applied in several layers with a trowel, allowing the creation of a wide range of finishes. As part of an application system the surface should be prepared with Microbase and with products recommended by Topciment.

It is formulated of hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, synthetic resins and specific additives. Microfino (component A in powder) needs to be mixed with Acricem (component B liquid) according to the quantities specified in this technical sheet to guarantee its features.

    Sttandard Microstone

    Sttandard Microstone is a two-component continuous coating (A in powder + B Acricem resin) formulated of hydraulic binders, synthetic resins, specific additives and selected colorants.

    As part of an application system the surface should be prepared with Microbase and with products recommended by Topciment.

    Once mixed, the obtained product can create a thin coating, with high mechanical resistance and strong grip on any type of substrate: concrete, cement-based mortars, ceramic, MDF, plaster and drywall, as long as they are correctly prepared.

    Properties

    • Continuous decorative coating without fissures always respect the expansion joints.
    • Applicable on countless surfaces: concrete, cement, ceramic, plasterboard, etc.
    • Excellent workability.
    • Wide range of colours.
    • Finishes: matt, satin and gloss .
    • High adhesion to substrates.
    • More mechanical strength and abrasion resistance than Microdeck.
    • Slip resistant properties without any additional anti-slip treatment.

    Sttandard

    Sttandard Aquaciment

    Sttandard Aquaciment microcement has been formulated to be applied in swimming pools. These are the products to be used when applying Aquaciment:

    • Aquaciment XL: microcement for preparing surfaces (component A).
    • Aquaciment M: microcement for finish coating (component A).
    • Acricem: primer and component B of microcement.
    • Presealer: product to seal swimming pools

    Sttandard Aquaciment is not a waterproof mortar.

    Aquaciment XL should be applied on shotcrete or gunite. This material can only be applied on clean, firm, level and well consolidated surfaces in a good flatness.

    Sttandard Acricem

    Sttandard Acricem acrylic resin, applicable:

    • To consolidate concrete-based substrates before applying Topciment’s microcements.
    • As an additive to the water used for any mortar.
    • As B Component for the two-component Topciment’s microcements.

    Properties

    • Excellent penetration and stabilisation of the substrate.
    • Applicable with a roller or a brush in one coat.
    • Water-based, not flammable.
    • Product supplied ready for use.
