Epoxy microcement for interior floors and walls | Industtrial

Industtrial it is our exclusive line of epoxy microcement (aggregate + epoxy resin). Water-based and two-component composition, it has been designed to cover the practical and functional needs of interior spaces with high wear and exposed to high pedestrian traffic. More demanding spaces such as garages, warehouses and offices.

A continuous decorative coating especially for interior walls and floors. In this product we have combined the excellent performance of our microcements with the extra hardness provided by epoxy resins.

The result is a decorative coating of very high performance that does not crack and does not require mesh to be applied. An epoxy microcement of excellent workability and unbeatable resistance to abrasion and pedestrian traffic. Mechanical performances that are in line with chemical resistances.

Likewise, our water-based epoxy microcement Industtrial it stands out for its very natural mineral finish and for a waterproofing superior to conventional microcement systems.

Industtrial it is available in 16 colors and 4 granulometries: Industtrial XL, Industtrial Base, Industtrial Medio e Industtrial Liso.

For the finishes offered by this epoxy microcement, we recommend using it for floors Industtrial XL and Industtrial Medio and for walls Industtrial Base and Industtrial Liso. However, all four grain sizes are suitable for both floors and interior walls

Why choose epoxy microcement? Industtrial?

Beyond the resistances, hardness and functionality it offers Industtrial, it is an epoxy microcement that gives the applicator significant benefits compared to other similar products on the market.

Industtrial stands out for its high covering power. A material that can cover the support up to 3 and 4 times more and better than its counterparts.

In this sense, with Industtrial it is only necessary to apply a finishing layer. An added value compared to other products that require two layers to complete the decoration of the support.

It is also an epoxy microcement with outstanding workability. A product that can be reviewed and that, in addition, in the event of making a mistake in the application it is possible to correct it instantly. Therefore, it would not be necessary to re-coat the entire support, only the affected area.

Industtrial allows creating the most diverse and special designs. Different pigments can be combined for the different layers, creating an even more attractive finish if possible.

Another of the main advantages of this epoxy microcement over the competition, is that if there are imperfections in the support when sanding them they do not whiten. A problem that quite a few products do present.

In the case of using Industtrial on the walls, the product does not sag. Excellent adhesion without the need to add additives, as happens with other products.

Industtrial provides greater hardness and impermeability than conventional microcements. An epoxy microcement capable of resisting abrasion, pedestrian traffic and chemical agents such as ammonia, soft drinks or coffee.

Its versatility also extends to the way it is pigmented. The A component can be colored individually or, alternatively, mix both components and then color the resulting compound. To the applicator's liking.

Preguntas frecuentes microcemento epoxi Industtrial

We do not recommend using epoxy microcement Industtrial in outdoor areas. This is because epoxy resin can yellow when exposed to sunlight.

Therefore, we recommend using epoxy microcement Industtrial as a decorative and functional finish for floors and walls in interior spaces.

The epoxy microcement Industtrial it is formulated so that it is not necessary to use mesh, as it is a product that is applied in very thin layers that favor optimal drying. If mesh were used, the product layers would be much thicker and there would be a risk of cracking.

Just as it happens in the rest of the microcement systems, it is essential to prepare the support under proper conditions to ensure a good decorative coating. In this sense, the substrate must be well consolidated, have good planimetry and be free of moisture (if this is not the case, it will need to be remedied).

In the case of epoxy microcement Industtrial, as a primer it is possible to use Primapox® 100 Barrier or the Primacem®. The choice of one or the other will depend on the support on which you want to apply Industtrial.

Yes, it can be applied without any kind of problem Primacem ABS (absorbent surfaces) or Primacem Plus (non-absorbent surfaces) as a primer for epoxy microcement Industtrial. Although to guarantee high performance, we recommend using Primapox® 100 Barrier to have the complete epoxy system.

Despite our epoxy microcement Industtrial guarantees superior resistances to other systems, including greater impermeability against running water, it is necessary to seal it. With this added protection, the durability of Industtrial increases exponentially.

Depending on the finish that each professional seeks, as well as the performance required by the use to be given, the epoxy microcement Industtrial it can be sealed with different varnishes. Mainly with our water-based varnishes. Topsealer WT One Coat y Topsealer WT Dragon, as can be seen in the step by step of the product application.

Although to protect the epoxy microcement Industtrial, there is also the possibility of using our solvent varnish Topsealer® DSV and our 100% solid epoxy varnish Coverpox.

The epoxy microcement Industtrial is composed of aggregates, without the need for cement, just as it happens in our ready-to-use microcement Efectto Quartz. For this reason, the application of the Presealer is avoidable and thus the step by step is reduced.

We have developed a total of 16 colors for the epoxy microcement Industtrial, what are the samples that appear above. However, if a customer wished to pigment the product with another color, they could do so without problems using our ARCOCEM BASIC.

Whenever we talk about interior spaces, the epoxy microcement Industtrial it can be applied to walls and ceilings. Although it is true that due to its resistance to wear and traffic above all, it is more focused for use on pavements.

No. Epoxy microcement cannot be applied on facades. Industtrial. As we have explained before, it is not recommended to use this product outdoors due to the real possibility of yellowing of the epoxy resin.

The epoxy microcement Industtrial fits perfectly in interior areas exposed to high traffic such as offices, shopping centers, warehouses, etc. Spaces that require more industrial resistances.

Beyond its hardness and resistance, the epoxy microcement Industtrial it is characterized by its versatility. So yes, if the applicator wants to achieve a water effect, they can achieve it.

To apply our epoxy microcement Industtrial about tiles, the first thing to do is to cover the joints with Primacem® Joint. A filler and smoothing putty whose purpose is to prevent the tracing from being noticeable after coating the surface with microcement.

Afterwards, the support will have to be primed with two coats of our primer Primacem® Plus for non-absorbent surfaces. The epoxy primer could also be used. Primapox® Barrier, but we only recommend it when there could be humidity that damages the substrate.

The A component of the Industtrial epoxy microcement is the only one that is pigmented. Depending on the chosen color, the proportions of the mixtures will be one or the other. The A component can be pigmented in advance and left in stock until the product is applied. In this way, distributors have the possibility of being able to sell the pigmented product directly. To collect the pigment that may remain in the container, it can be done with a little water.

If preferred, there is also the possibility of first mixing component A and component B and, then, pigmenting the resulting mixture.

In addition, the versatility of the epoxy microcement Industtrial allows playing with the different colors available to achieve an even more natural finish if possible. That is, you can pigment the base layer with one color and the top layer with another different to create a very attractive visual contrast. As for the material warranty, it is one year.

Once the A component is mixed with the B one, water cannot be introduced as it repels it. In case you want to add water, it will have to be done in the A component before mixing it with the B.

Industtrial it is an epoxy microcement that is designed with a suitable texture for its application, so adding water is not necessary. It is important to note that it is not a product compatible with the addition of resins.
