Reagents for oxidizing concrete surfaces - Oxicem® Concrete

Oxicem® Concrete constitutes the line of coloring chemical reagents for tinting and oxidizing concrete surfaces as well as other cementitious and mineral surfaces. Products that offer the most unique decorative finishes for decorative pavements and for walls.

Available in 7 colors, they produce through a chemical reaction a coloration on the support to be treated, automatically generating colored mineral nanocrystals. Materials that are light stable, which facilitates the use of our reagents in the same way outdoors as indoors.

Chemical dyes that are applicable in all types of forms and are perfect for transforming and oxidizing old concrete surfaces. Coatings of polished concrete, precast concrete and imprinted concrete, but also of microcement.

With Oxicem® Concrete it's very easy to renovate environments and surfaces worn out over time. An original decorative finish that doesn't lose that naturalness of the vintage look so in demand today.

Oxicem® Concrete colors to oxidize concrete surfaces

Amarillo, Bronce, Negro, Oliva, Pardo, Turquesa y Verde Océano are the seven colors available within the Oxicem® Concrete family. Colors that offer very different finishes depending on the shade of the concrete coating you want to oxidize, as well as its sealing.

In this sense, if light-toned concrete surfaces are going to be oxidized, the final coating will have a very different appearance from one that is darker even though the color of Oxicem® Concrete is the same. Similarly, the final texture changes completely after the use of the Topsealer ® WT One Coat sealer.

The colors shown for Oxicem Concrete® to achieve a rust effect on concrete are digital simulations. It is possible that the results of the samples do not match 100% when applying our chemical dyes on a surface. Therefore, we advise consulting the catalogs of real samples beforehand.

Rust effect on concrete with Oxicem® Concrete on light coatings

Next, we show the different rust effects on concrete that can be achieved if Oxicem® Concrete is used in light-toned coatings. The image on the left is of the unsealed coating, the one on the right is the resulting texture of protecting the coating with our water-based polyurethane varnish Topsealer ® WT One Coat.

Rust effect on concrete with Oxicem® Concrete on dark coatings

As can be seen at first glance, the finishes of Oxicem® Concrete change considerably when applying the product on dark coatings. In the samples on the left, we appreciate the rust effect on concrete before sealing. In those on the right, the final finish after the use of Topsealer ® WT One Coat varnish.
